Do you struggle to dress for your petite frame?
Women who are 5’4 or under between the size of 4 and 14 are typically classed as petite. Searching brands that specialise in petite sizes as these are cut differently to non -petite clothes. Typically the proportions for torsos, arms and legs will be shorter. Many brands now offer a petite range. Below are some of my favourite high street stores but also some online brands you may not have heard of.

3 TOP TIPS FOR A PETITE WARDROBE
Consider your scale? If you are petite you will look better in petite. I’m not talking about the petite range at Topshop. I’m talking about small scale prints, slim belts and medium to small handbags. Large prints, wide belts and so on will only drown you and make you appear smaller.
Try wearing block colour. Dressing head to toe in one colour will elongate your body. Wearing pointed toe shoes or shoes in the same colour as your trousers will also help.
The biggest top tip I give to all my petite ladies is to find a good tailor. When shopping for clothes always consider adding £10 to £15 on top of the item for tailoring costs. If you invest in quality pieces that will last and get lots of wear per cost making it a worthwhile investment that you will get used to over time.
