Workout Wardrobe

Wearing clothes that fit well and make you feel good can help boost your confidence when working out. Try to find workout clothes that are comfortable, breathable, and allow for a full range of motion. Bright colors and bold patterns can also add a pop of fun to your gym wardrobe. Additionally, investing in high-quality workout shoes and accessories can also make a big difference in your overall look and feel. Remember that the most important thing is that you feel good and comfortable in what you're wearing, so don't be afraid to experiment with different styles and looks.

HOW TO WEAR COLOUR & PATTERN?

Concider where you place any pattern and colour. If you have wider hips then shoulders opt for a darker colour on your bottom half and pattern or a bright colour on the top half to help balance your shape.

If you are broad shouldered consider a halter neck top in a darker shade.

If you are a larger size on your top half, and small on the bottom half then wear pattern and colour on your lower half.

Darker colour is better for a really sweaty workout but remember navy, charchol and chocolate are all great alternatives to black and some abstract print work to hide sweat too.

Period pants can be great for a workout as they absorb moisture.

WHAT SHOULD I HAVE IN MY WORKOUT WARDROBE

  • Athletic shorts or leggings: Shorts should be loose-fitting and comfortable, while leggings should be form-fitting and allow for easy movement.

  • Athletic t-shirts or tank tops: Look for shirts made from moisture-wicking fabric to help keep you dry during your workout.

  • Sports bras: If you're a woman, it's important to wear a sports bra that provides proper support during your workout.

  • Athletic shoes: Investing in a good pair of athletic shoes can make a big difference in your workout. Look for shoes that provide good support and have a non-slip sole.

  • Sweatshirts or jackets: Depending on the weather and your personal preference, you may want to bring a sweatshirt or jacket to wear before or after your workout.

It's also important to keep in mind the gym's dress code, if any. Keep in mind that some gyms have dress codes that prohibit certain types of clothing, such as jeans or street shoes.

Now head of to the gym looking great and feeling confident.
